• Vail is home to the largest (ski) recycling area program in the entire world. A whopping seventy percent of the material used in the mountain is recycled - including everything from cardboard to chair lifts.
• Water conservation is another one of the strengths of this amazing place. All the drinking water in the region comes from natural spring water. Moreover, old defective bathroom faucets have been removed and replaced by low flow ones, leading to a twenty-seven percent decrease in the consumption of water in the area.
