Vail Condominium Rentals

Vail...in all its snow-capped glory, is one of the most desirable resorts in the world. But don’t expect to merely ski or cycle in for a quick afternoon visit: You’ll want to spend time there in order to fully appreciate the pleasures of this year-round wonderland.

With that in mind, the Town of Vail, along with Vail Village

and the rest of greater Vail Valley, offer no less than 32,000 guest beds in a wide assortment of bed-and-breakfasts, hotels, cabins, rental homes and condominiums.

From the most rustic cabin to the unbridled luxury of a five-star hotel, nearly every budget need is included in the seemingly endless list of places to stay, with many spots offering adjoining restaurants. And, wherever you land, you’ll never be more than a shuttle away from golf courses, ski-rental facilities and other accommodations and attractions.

You (and friends or family) can choose from such areas as Lionshead Village, Cascade Village, Golden Peak, Sandstone and East and West Vail,

with each section of the region boasting its own special variety of lodging. Rates vary with the seasons, of course, and it will always pay to shop – especially for the lowest Internet rates.

In Vail Village, the Village Center condos are at the top of the heap, with spectacular views of majestic Vail Mountain. A two-bedroom, two-bath unit can be had for $250-$600 per night. Not far behind is the Evergreen Lodge, a full-service hotel that affords both mountain and valley views and rates of $115-$399.

East Vail boasts the prestigious Vail Racquet Club Townhomes and Condominiums, with fully equipped one- to three-bedroom units ranging from $100 to $660. At Lionshead Village, the luxurious Lionshead Inn is within walking distance of the Eagle Bahn Gondola and a wide variety of amenities. Rooms can be had for $179-$390, and kids stay free.

Golden Peak is home to The Wren, and its condominium

guest suites feature private balconies. The rates? $110-$855, the latter for a three-bedroom during peak season. And the fully furnished Apollo Park Lodge condos are $74-$255. At Sandstone, the timeshare Sandstone Creek Club features a steam room, sauna and racquetball courts, and the 64 units run from $90-$490, while comfy Lionsmane units can be rented for $188-$518.

The Arosa Chalets in West Vail is the ideal retreat for large groups, with accommodations that include the Redwood Chalet and its 11 bedrooms and eight baths ($1,710-$2,700). All units, large and small, have a dazzling mountain view. Golfers will find a slice of heaven at Fallridge, located on the first tee of Vail’s PGA-caliber golf course and just over a mile from the heart of the Village. Rates are $100-$625.

In Cascade Village, the popular Liftside Condominiums are literally at the foot of the mountain, boast a spa and athletic club, and go for $360-$575. And, if you think that Vail is too rich for your blood, think again: Cascade Village also includes the budget-conscious Park Meadows Lodge, with rates as low as $69 (topping out at $270).
